Cycling from Germany to Capetown

Realise your travel dreams of Africa with me

I started cycling in July 2002 from Germany, via Southeast Europe and all along the East Coast of Africa. It will take me about 2 1/2 years to reach my final destination - Cape of Good Hope.

Stay with me throughout the whole journey - read my diary (german), discover my photos and virtually shake hands with the people i meet.

I´m undertaking this project because i want to join up the fun, the experience of discovering the unexpected, and let you travel Africa with me.

Above all, i would like to raise my awareness of cultures, literature and living totally different from our West European lifestyles, and with your help, i may be even able to sponsor worthwile local activities.
